Metro is inviting bids for Metro South Transfer Station Women’s Locker Room.

The selected contractor shall remodel a portion of the MSS main building to provide a women’s locker room for use by the transfer station operations contractor. The Project includes all labor, material, and equipment requirements associated with and necessary for the work. Details are in the solicitation document.

Bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. March 9, 2021 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3890. Responses will be opened publicly at that time.

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on February 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at Metro South, located at 2001 Washington Street, Oregon City, Oregon 97045. Please park in the gravel parking lot south of MSS.

We will gather in the gravel parking area and begin our tour of the site. Interested bidders and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the ITB requirements. Interested bidders shall RSVP to

Because of the State of Oregon’s social distancing policy, no more than 10 people are allowed to tour the site at one time. Each potential bidder is limited to one attendee. All attendees shall bring personal protective equipment (close-toed shoes, safety vest, hard hat, eye protection and a face mask). The conference will be held at 10:00 am. Attendance will be per RSVP. If the first conference fills up we will hold another at 11:00 am

All bidders submitting a bid for public improvements over $50,000 certify that they will pay and comply with the minimum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800-279C.870 and if applicable 40 U.S.C.276a.
